UK agrees historic trade deal with Australia

The UK has secured a trade deal with Australia eliminating tariffs on all UK goods, in the first major trade deal negotiated from scratch by the Government since the UK left the EU. Read the press release here.

In 2020, medicinal and pharmaceutical exports topped £100m from the East of England to Australia. Cutting the red tape and aligning standards could allow further growth for UK manufacturers located in the East of England.
